Best Turned Out & Novelty classes take place in RING 4 from 10.00 am
CLASS:
1. Best Turned Out: mounted or un-mounted (Rider any age).
2. Junior Handler: 16 years and under.
3. Senior Handler: 17 years and over.
4. Handsomest Gelding: any age/horse/pony any height.
5. Prettiest Mare: any age / horse/pony any height.
6. Family Pony/Horse: any age/horse/pony any height.
CLASS 1 is judged on the condition of the horse or pony, cleanliness of the tack and correctness of dress. Conformation of the horse or pony will not be taken into account.
Equitation classes take place in RING 4 from 12.00 pm approx (to follow novelty classes)
CLASS:
7. Lead Rein: 8 years and under/horse/pony any height.
8. Junior Rider: 16 years and under/horse/pony any height.
9. Senior Rider: 17 years and over/horse/pony any height.
Snaffle bridles only. Cavesson or flash nosebands only
No artificial aids, whips or spurs in any equitation class
In Hand Showing classes take place in RING 3 from 10.30am
CLASS:
10. Yearling: Any Height.
11. 2-3 Year Old: Any Height.
12. Colt/Stallion: Open To Colts 2yrs & Over & Stallions – Handler Must Be 16 Years & Over.
13. Cob Type (Excluding Welsh): Any Height.
14. Coloured: Any Height.
15. Welsh Section A.
16. Welsh Section B.
17. Welsh Section C.
18. Welsh Section D.
19. Part Bred Horse/Pony: Any Height.
20. Brood Mare With or Without Foal at Foot.(Rossette for highest placed Foal)
21. Mountain & Moorland: Small Breeds (Including Shetland).
22. Mountain & Moorland: Large Breeds.
23. Best Pony: 14.2hh and Under.
24. Best Horse: Over 14.2hh.
25. Hunter Horse or Pony: Any Height. (Same pony/horse can only compete in either class 25 or class 26 per show day)
26. Hack/Riding Horse or Pony Any Height (Same pony/horse can only compete in either class 25 or class 26 per show day)
27. Veteran: Horse/Pony over 15 Years
Championship To Follow For 1st and 2nd Placed.
Colts and stallions must be bitted at all times and boxed after their classes also to be handled by responsible, knowledgeable senior competitors at all times.
Stallions to be ridden by competitors aged 16 years and over.
